The idea for BackUpGuy.Com was born in 2007 over John Webster’s  lunch of YC’s stir-fry.  During his more than 30 years of IT experience, John noticed that although computer technology was rapidly evolving, the methods of backing up data had begun to lag behind.  Although of the first things new homeowners did upon purchasing their first home was to buy insurance, computer owners rarely took the same care with their data.<\/p>\n
